As May ends, Air sweeps in, shaking up our thoughts and ideas and providing an opportunity for a much-needed mental clearout. Themes coming up for recognition, and eventual integration, include heartbreak, betrayal and loneliness. The emotional reactions are long-dead, but past events have still left their mark on the psyche.

It is important we recognise our own part in these difficult, yet defining events from our histories. Did you allow abuse to continue, ignoring warning signs and hoping for a change? As long as you identify with victimhood, that's what you'll be! We cannot control other people, but we can moderate how we react to their behaviour.

Emotions are generated from within.. by facing them square on we can gain a greater understanding of ourselves and what makes us tick. This is invaluable in ensuring that history does not repeat on an endless loop.

Air energy contines through till the end of May. Along with clearing the mental cobwebs, it supports us as we rediscover ourselves. You'll get back in touch with some pretty potent life tools; confidence, charisma and a little selfishness. We need to generate the illusion of success, before we can actually achieve it. Acting like you already have your desires is often the best way to bring them to you.

A knack for communication helps you to shape your world.. no longer are you at the whim of fate! This is an exciting time, brimming with possibilities. Step forward.. know there is a safety net. If I tell you it is made from the luck of the Devil will that make you hesitate? I hope not ;)

A word of warning: when we are fuelled by the power of imagination, it is important that we do not fall prey to fear. There are less salubrious entities that just love to exploit any weaknesses they can find. It is possible to control the direction your thoughts take; if they are ruinous you are under no obligation to indulge them. Have a bit of mental fortitude! Worry usually manifests exactly what you *don't* want, and worry is almost always *never* based on reality.

International relations take a turn for the worse as leaders are unable to get over past insults and transgressions. Attempts at manipulation lead to comically overdone woe. The right-wing media lament the death of all they hold dear with huge-font, tragic cries of "RUIN!"
