The Blocking and Unblocking of my Crown Chakra

While doing energy work about six months ago I discovered a major block in my crown. What was found there solved a ten year old mystery and kicked off an unprecedented phase in my development. But lest I get ahead of myself, I’ll start with the background.

In the winter of 1996 I was in the hospital, recovering from a major operation. The day I believe I had my first implant experience, I was a bit woozy on pain medications, but awake and aware. Suddenly my crown got really hot, almost to the point of pain, stayed that way for a few seconds, and the sensation went away. Not knowing anything about chakras at the time, I let a nearby nurse know. She of course didn’t know what to tell me either, and probably just cranked up my morphine.

Once I started gaining an interest in metaphysics and alternative spirituality a few years later, the memory of this experience came back to me strongly, and since then I had felt that it was important I find out what happened. There had been a number of theories, mostly having to do with the operation either improving or blocking my energy flow, though I was never fully satisfied with any of the ideas that were kicked around by myself and friends. Once I started doing regular energy work, it came out that my crown was the only chakra I could never feel. I thought this may be partly because of the fried crown incident, and partly my doing, because of unhealthy coping mechanisms from when I was younger.

Several months ago my energy sensitivity had gradually gotten to the point where I was beginning to feel blocks. I’d be bouncing energy around my system, and when the bounce hit a block, I would feel resistance; the awareness-motion would get sluggish, and it would take serious mental effort to keep it going at all. I encountered a “block” in my crown, and out of curiosity, had Gehenna look into it. I was expecting her to tell me there was a regular blob of stuck energy, I would work on the area myself for a while and it would soon be cleared. Instead, what she found was an etheric implant that translated as a steel plate, screwed into my crown, that was keeping energy and information from going in or out. She had to unscrew each screw in order to remove and destroy it. (I figured I should’ve been picking up astral radio stations, but apparently it doesn’t work that way…) She also found a calcified “plug” in my third eye that she compared to the crumbly stuff you stick fake flowers into (I love that stuff! Just not lodged in my third eye! ). My impression was that that one formed on its own due to having my crown blocked off.

After that, I felt a whole lot lighter almost immediately, and within a day was able to feel my crown chakra, and feel it becoming active, for the first time. For about two weeks off and on though, I would find further blocks in the same place. I believe these were caused by my energy body being so used to being blocked in that way for so long, that it was trying to remake the original out of “habit.” After a few weeks of clearing my top two chakras out every few days, the blocks have not returned, and they are now extremely active, though I’m still learning how to sense through them. I’m hoping that they are now too active for something like this to happen again easily, in the same way that plugging a firehose would be a lot more difficult if it was turned on. As for effects, my dream recall has gone way up from what it was, and I’m beginning to get more visuals when I meditate. I’m also working on forming connections with various higher powers, and have been getting some promising results, although I feel its something I have to learn how to do all over again.

At this point I figured I was mostly in the clear as far as blocks were concerned, and anything else I’d find would be “normal” and easily dealt with. If you would have told me what we would stumble upon a few months later, I would’ve said you were nuts. I’ll pick the story up there in my next post.
