I'd be keen to see something on soul contracts, this is a bit of a question I have right now. I had an event about 4 years ago that blew away the box I was hiding in and made me look to spiritual stuff again. OK, probably that was a good thing. But right around that time I sensed a lot of 'commotion' going on around me on a spiritual level, it kept me awake at nights for weeks! Felt like guides/angels/whatever were having a real major discussion/argument, around me? I could sense no details, just that a big ra-ra was going on - how you might feel if your parents and relatives were having a big heated discussion in the next room and you get the strong impression its about you. Through bits I have read I have began to wonder if this was some kind of 'contract re-negotiation? Anyway I'm focused on more immediate stuff to deal with resulting from that event, but because this happened at the start of this whole phase I've been thinking I'd love to know what that was about, it might explain a lot! Yeah, the idea that you get thrown in the dog pit with a blindfold on as a way to learn stuff and supposedly have fun while you do it just does not stack up AT ALL (in my 'limited ego based' view). Especially when the pit is full of deliberately placed obstacles and people outside poking at ya with sharp sticks! There must be more to this story. Recent events pushed me to re-open my spiritual side and I've been on a bit of a spiritual assault course, reading, meditating and working hard every way I can. I have definately been guided to some great material, the internet is awesome, 20+ years ago when I last worked in this direction it was just books. I am really pleased to find someone that is not spouting the same old rose-tinted: its all wonderful and huggy stuff. When I look at my life, the world I live in and the experiences we all have it actually looks like a mess and I'm having real issues convincing myself this is a game I subscribed to! Well just a short rant, the point is this is the first site I have found where I feel I could have a real conversation on the stuff that is important to me, rather than just trading platitudes.
