Over a year ago, I mentioned in an article that I hadn’t had any personal experience with orgone in order to evaluate any of the claims made about it, and that it was something I planned on looking into eventually.
A few months ago, Lena of www.lenarocks.com got in touch and offered to send us some to play with. After spending some time with the pieces she sent us, there are two things I can confirm: Lena does indeed rock, and orgone does perform as claimed. As you can see from the image, not only are these used for energetic purposes; people get pretty artsy with ‘em, too. There were originally two more pieces than what’s pictured, but those have since found homes with two friends we thought would benefit.
What is Orgonite?
The short answer: it’s metal shavings and crystals mixed into hardened molded resin, which is claimed to convert negative energy (called “deadly orgone”) into positive, life-sustaining orgone energy.
For a longer explanation of the history, discovery, inventions and current developments on the orgone front, I would rather leave it to those who have already explained much better than I would by plugging some links, and have this post mostly stick to our own experiences with this material.
I did want to give kudos to the orgone gifting movement, which consists of people who make lots of orgonite, and send it to others, or leave it in areas that are in desperate need of an energetic boost. Given my own experiences with both negative interference, and now orgone, this is one of very few tactics I would personally condone as far as dealing with the influence of pervasive negative networks in a given region in a way that’s productive and sustainable.
Calling one common orgone item, used for gifting, a “Holy Hand Grenade” also gets a few thumbs up from me for the Python reference. 
Our Experiences
The day I received our orgone shipment, I was having some instability issues with my base chakra. So, naturally, I took a piece out and sat on it while I worked to see if it would have any effects. It did indeed make rapid, noticeable improvements in the issues I was having, which was nice because it meant I didn’t have to take time out later for manual system repair. My chakras really like the stuff, and respond immediately when I put some in proximity.
As far as neg interference goes, orgone does seem to have the effect of transmuting negative energy. When placed against areas where there’s a lot of thick, tarry, negative-emotion-flavored energy I call “ick” that’s associated with the presence of neg entities as well as the usually unconscious negativity people often launch at each other, the negative energy dissipates quickly. As to whether it has a repellent effect on entities themselves, I assume so based on the above but can’t really say. A few weeks before the orgone got here, we seem to have entered a phase where we aren’t getting many, if any, invasive visits from uninvited critters… which is of course nice for us, but not so much for scientific purposes.
Gehenna has reported a number of positive effects from having the orgone around: increased mental clarity, being able to manage better on less sleep, bounce back quicker after being upset, enhanced dreams and third eye function.
Another item Lena sent us (pictured, top left) was later determined to be meant for amplifying one’s intent. This is a small canister with a mobius coil, wrapped around a quartz crystal, set in orgone, and attached to a battery. Lena had wanted to see if we could figure out what it was before telling us, and while we kind of half suspected what it was intended for, the energy coming off it was so nice we ended up going through most of a battery before finding out for sure. I feel the energy as being of a different quality than the orgonite; the orgonite is also more ambient, whereas the amplifier actively projects a field outward. I experience the energy as being very smooth, steady, and “warmer” in a way that isn’t actually associated with temperature, which is the best I can explain it. I’ve recently been doing some work to undo some things I found screwing with my ability to manifest my intentions, so I plan on doing some meditations with the amplifier once we get another battery for it. Will update if anything comes of this that makes for a good story; watch this space.
All in all Gehenna and I would say orgone is definitely a concept worth pursuing. We’re looking forward to working with it more ourselves, and making connections with others active in this community. Many thanks to Lena for making this post possible!
